Prepress as the name suggests are the tasks required to prepare a digital file for printing. As a trade printer, CMYKhub requires ‘print-ready’ PDF files from our trade partners. This means the artwork should be at least 300dpi, fonts embedded, CMYK colour, bleed, correct size, along with embellishment pages and dielines setup correctly if required. CMYKhub will preflight the file to check for that the file complies with these requirements when then file is uploaded to Hublink. This means our trade partners can trust their artwork will print accurately.

If a file does not pass preflight, our trade partners will be provided with the option to have their artwork corrected by artFIX. This service is facilitated by CMYKhub staff and carries a small fee per order to ensure the artwork passes preflight.
